How to Download a Video from X (Twitter)
X share links often end in /video/1, which confuses some tools. DownloadTray normalises them back to the post URL, so both forms work.
Copy the post link
- 1Open the post on x.com.
- 2Tap Share, then Copy link.
- 3A link ending in /video/1 is fine; paste it as is.
Paste and download
Open downloadtray.com, paste the link and press Download. The result card shows the highest-quality MP4 the post exposes.
If the post has several videos or GIFs, each file is listed separately.
Save the file
On desktop the file goes to Downloads. On iPhone use the share sheet to save it to Photos; on Android it lands in Downloads.
