How to Download a Facebook Video
Facebook is the most restrictive of the supported platforms. Public videos and reels often work; private groups and login-only posts do not.
Copy the video link
- 1Open the video on facebook.com.
- 2Choose Share, then Copy link.
- 3Paste it into DownloadTray and press Download.
Pick the file
When Facebook exposes files, the result card lists HD and standard MP4 options. Pick the one you need.
If the post is private or from a group you belong to, the resolver cannot see it and returns an explanation.
